Professional Weather Intelligence
for Snow Removal Operations
Service thresholds at your own trigger depths, equipment deployment recommendations, and historical snowfall records - built for snow contractors.
Stop Checking Weather Apps Every Hour
Most weather apps tell you it's going to snow. They don't tell you when to deploy your crews, which equipment to use, or when your contract trigger depths will be reached.
Snow Central Pro was built specifically for snow removal professionals. Set your trigger depths once, and the dashboard shows when the forecast reaches each one.
- ✓Official NWS snowfall amounts with hourly timing and a range across providers
- ✓Less guesswork with forecast times for each trigger depth
- ✓Historical snowfall records for billing, with CSV export
- ✓Optimize operations with equipment recommendations

Frequently Asked Questions
What snow accumulation thresholds can I monitor?
+
Any depth you choose. Each piece of equipment in Snow Central Pro has its own trigger depth (defaults: salt spreader 0.5", pickup plow 2", skid steer 3", front loader 6", dump truck 8"), and those depths are your service thresholds. For the current or next storm, the dashboard shows whether the forecast reaches each one and at what local time. Settings are saved on your device. Snow Central Pro does not send push or email notifications yet; the dashboard refreshes every 5 minutes while it is open.
How accurate are the snow accumulation forecasts?
+
No snow forecast is exact. For US locations we use the National Weather Service’s official snowfall amounts, with hourly timing from Tomorrow.io, and Snow Central Pro compares them with Open-Meteo and shows the range between them so you can see when forecasts disagree. Outside the US, forecasts come from Tomorrow.io and Open-Meteo.
Can I use this for billing verification?
+
Snow Central Pro includes historical snowfall lookups - recorded daily snowfall for any date range up to two years back, labelled by data quality (station observation, interpolated or modelled) and exportable as CSV - plus an export of the forecast storm plan. These records support invoices but are not certified reports, and we do not keep a log of when thresholds were reached.
What equipment recommendations does it provide?
+
Based on the hourly forecast and your trigger settings, Snow Central Pro shows when each piece of equipment is forecast to be needed: brine sprayers, salt spreaders, pickup plows, skid steers, front loaders and dump trucks. Each has a customizable trigger depth, and brine and salt also have a surface-temperature trigger.
Is Snow Central Pro available year-round?
+
Snow Central is tuned for November through March, but the dashboard stays open all year: early and late storms show up as soon as they are in the 5-day forecast, and historical snowfall records are available any time.
What regions are supported?
+
Any location that gets winter snow. US locations get National Weather Service forecasts; elsewhere forecasts come from Tomorrow.io and Open-Meteo. The NWS snow forecast map and NOAA snow-cover layers on the radar cover the US.
How much does it cost?
